I’ve learned in life that everybody has a story to tell. Whether grand or humble, we’ve all had experiences that have shaped us into the people we are today. So, without any fancy pictures, here is the story of MMBC, straight from the heart. My story of why and how I became a Makeup Artist and Hairstylist to eventually starting this wonderful business.
Ever since being a little girl, I loved playing with makeup and styling hair. But then again, a lot of little girls did the exact same. I grew up playing ‘makeup artists’ with my friends, I was influenced heavily by the makeup that my favorite pop stars and Youtube MUAs wore and I subjected my mom to many hours of playing ‘hairdresser’ where she’d inevitably end up with high pigtails which I used to find particularly hilarious. I’ve always had a passion for the beauty industry, I love when someone sits in my chair and tells me they’ve never felt so beautiful. 
Now, as an adult I graduated from Paul Mitchell the School Charlotte and struggled to find my salon home which  made me feel so distraught. I felt so hopeless in this industry like I wasn’t meant to do this..until I took it upon myself to start this wonderful journey of being a business owner. This dream of mine was just that..a dream. I woke up one morning to work a giant wedding with my two best friends, doing hair and makeup for 13 girls and on my way home I said this is it, I’m starting this business and this is what I’m meant to do. That’s the story of Magic Mirror Beauty Company.
